Hairy Gymnast: An Explanation

NEWSFLASH EDIT: We are back at No 1 in Google for hairy gymnast, thanks guys and gals. Mwahahaha


Some of you, especially those visiting this blog from America, may be a tad confused about this Hairy Gymnast thing, so let me explain...

A poker blog chum of mine - I won't name him for fear of increasing his Hairy Gymnast hits - set out on a mission to become Number One in the Google search engine for the term "Hairy Gymnast". I'm not sure how he fell upon this task, after all it's not your usual sort of past time, but the thing is he quickly achieved his aim, sitting proudly at the top of the search engine front page.

Being a competitive sort, I thought I would try and claim the spot for myself, and set about secreting the term Hairy Gymnast into some of my posts. It worked, I took top spot - but then I took my foot off the pedal, too. When I looked at Google yesterday my Hairy Gymnast ranking had slipped to page two- the shame of it!.

So, what is a man to do? Well, I'm currently here at the World Series of Poker working with my pal Brad "Otis" Willis, and was telling him about the Hairy Gymnast thing over a a cup of coffee. He told me that to reach number one again, I needed to have people linking into my site with the Hairy Gymnast phrase.

And, true gent that he is (or he, like me, has gone a bit WSOP stir crazy) he has kicked things off by posting my plight on his blog, complete with link back here.

If, then, that is how you arrived at this little mad place, I hope this post explains it.
